The Dow Falls 266 Points on Hong Kong Protests and Lower U.S. Treasury Yields

Still Slipping. The major U.S. stock market indexes slid as falling U.S. Treasury yields, protests in Hong Kong, and U.S.-China trade war concerns pressured equity markets.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 266 points, or 1%. The S&P 500 was down 0.8% and the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.7%.
