Dow up nearly 250 points on gains for shares of Boeing, Goldman Sachs

Shares of Boeing and Goldman Sachs are trading higher Wednesday morning, lifting the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Boeing BA, +5.62% and Goldman Sachs GS, +2.33% are contributing to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +0.66% is trading 246 points, or 0.8%, higher. Boeing’s shares are up $6.03, or 4.9%, while those of Goldman Sachs have climbed $7.58 (2.7%), combining for an approximately 90-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Microsoft MSFT, +1.67%, American Express AXP, +1.47%, and Nike NKE, +1.35%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
