Shares of Apple Inc. and Walgreens Boots are seeing strong returns Wednesday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. Shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, +2.88% and Walgreens Boots WBA, +3.53% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +1.91% is trading 178 points higher (0.5%). Apple Inc.’s shares are up $3.67 (2.3%) while those of Walgreens Boots are up $0.93, or 2.2%, combining for a roughly 30-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Honeywell International Inc. HON, +3.95%, IBM IBM, +2.89%, and 3M MMM, +3.25%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
