UnitedHealth, IBM share losses lead Dow's 50-point drop

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is falling Thursday afternoon with shares of UnitedHealth and IBM seeing the biggest drops for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.55% was most recently trading 55 points, or 0.2%, lower, as shares of UnitedHealth UNH, -4.19% and IBM IBM, -1.93% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. UnitedHealth’s shares have dropped $18.25, or 3.7%, while those of IBM have declined $2.63 (1.9%), combining for a roughly 138-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include Walgreens Boots WBA, -3.14%, Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.83%, and Procter & Gamble PG, -0.88%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
