Goldman Sachs, Boeing share gains lead Dow's 125-point jump

Shares of Goldman Sachs and Boeing are posting positive growth Monday morning, lifting the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow DJIA, +0.07% was most recently trading 125 points, or 0.3%, higher, as shares of Goldman Sachs GS, +2.51% and Boeing BA, +2.49% have contributed about a quarter of the index’s intraday rally. Goldman Sachs’s shares have risen $10.68, or 2.8%, while those of Boeing are up $4.50 (2.2%), combining for an approximately 100-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Apple Inc. AAPL, +1.52%, JPMorgan Chase JPM, +1.60%, and Intel INTC, +1.05%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
