The Reserves Network, a Fairview Park-based staffing agency, said it has acquired Atlanta-based staffing firm Staffing Options.
Financial terms of the deal, announced Friday, Nov. 19, were not disclosed. The deal marks the second acquisition by The Reserves Network (TRN) in as many months.
Staffing Options, which was founded in 1995, merged into TRN’s nearby office in Duluth, Georgia, earlier this month, the firm said, and is operating under the TRN brand name. However, the firm also has offices in McDonough, Savannah and Smyrna, as well as multiple on-site locations at clients.
It was an acquisition of Angelyn Staffing in 2008 that first established TRN in the Georgia market.
“The addition of Staffing Options allows The Reserves Network to service new and different customers throughout the North Atlanta area,” TRN said in a statement. “Staffing Options focuses on providing employee placements in the areas of accounting, administrative, customer service, general office, manufacturing and medical positions.”
TRN is a provider of office, industrial, professional and technical talent.
“We are excited to work with the experienced and well-respected Staffing Options team in this endeavor,” said TRN vice president Kara Shanks in a statement. “This acquisition allows us to create new staffing partnerships, better serve our existing customers in the North Atlanta region and create opportunities for growth within The Reserves Network.”
In October, TRN announced its acquisition of Sugar Land, Texas-based staffing firm Resource Staffing. Founded in 1989, that company helps place workers in fields including office administration, accounting, finance, real estate, customer care and non-clinical health care/medical.
The last roll-up completed by TRN before that was in 2019 with the acquisition of ExecuTeam Staffing, which included its medical staffing subsidiary Team1Medical. With ExecuTeam based in Houston, that deal marked TRN’s expansion into the Texas market.
TRN, established in 1984, is the 16th-largest family-owned business in Northeast Ohio (ranked by employees), according to Crain’s research, as well as one of this market’s largest privately held companies, ranked by revenue.
