Boeing, Visa share gains lead Dow's nearly 100-point jump

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up Monday morning with shares of Boeing and Visa delivering the strongest returns for the index. The Dow DJIA, -0.04% was most recently trading 92 points (0.3%) higher, as shares of Boeing BA, +5.49% and Visa V, +0.10% have contributed around a quarter of the index’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares have risen $8.85, or 4.0%, while those of Visa are up $4.05 (1.9%), combining for an approximately 85-point bump for the Dow. McDonald’s MCD, +0.91%, Apple Inc. AAPL, +0.01%, and Nike NKE, -0.14% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.59-point swing.
