Nike, Inc. share losses contribute to Dow's nearly 100-point fall

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Wednesday afternoon with shares of Nike and Inc. seeing the biggest losses for the price-weighted average. Shares of Nike NKE, -3.41% and Inc. CRM, -2.95% are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.51% was most recently trading 91 points (0.3%) lower. Nike’s shares are down $5.19 (3.0%) while those of Inc. are off $5.80, or 1.9%, combining for a roughly 72-point drag on the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the decline include UnitedHealth UNH, -1.33%, Chevron CVX, -1.76%, and Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.61%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components results in a 6.59-point swing.
