Boeing, Salesforce.com Inc. share gains contribute to Dow's 165-point jump

Behind positive momentum for shares of Boeing and Salesforce.com Inc., the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Monday morning. The Dow DJIA, +0.27% was most recently trading 165 points, or 0.5%, higher, as shares of Boeing BA, +1.16% and Salesforce.com Inc. CRM, +1.24% have contributed to the index’s intraday rally. Boeing’s shares are up $2.38 (1.2%) while those of Salesforce.com Inc. have gained $3.34, or 1.1%, combining for an approximately 38-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include McDonald’s MCD, +1.47%, American Express AXP, +0.91%, and Amgen Inc. AMGN, +0.95%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
