Microsoft, Inc. share losses lead Dow's 300-point fall

Shares of Microsoft and Inc. are trading lower Tuesday morning, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. The Dow DJIA, -1.06% was most recently trading 302 points (0.9%) lower, as shares of Microsoft MSFT, -2.91% and Inc. CRM, -2.46% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Microsoft’s shares are down $8.39, or 2.9%, while those of Inc. are off $6.09 (2.2%), combining for a roughly 95-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Walt Disney DIS, -1.85%, Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.64%, and Home Depot HD, -1.72%. A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
