Dow's 600-point rally highlighted by gains for Inc., JPMorgan Chase shares

Shares of Inc. and JPMorgan Chase are trading higher Thursday afternoon, propelling the Dow Jones Industrial Average rally. Shares of Inc. CRM, +7.16% and JPMorgan Chase JPM, +3.68% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +1.80% was most recently trading 603 points higher (1.8%). Inc.’s shares have climbed $17.84, or 6.9%, while those of JPMorgan Chase are up $5.69, or 3.7%, combining for an approximately 155-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include American Express AXP, +3.42%, Caterpillar CAT, +3.03%, and Dow Inc. DOW, +3.00%. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
