Boeing, Chevron share gains contribute to Dow's nearly 375-point rally

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Wednesday afternoon with shares of Boeing and Chevron delivering strong returns for the price-weighted average. Shares of Boeing BA, +3.63% and Chevron CVX, +3.37% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally, as the Dow DJIA, +1.01% is trading 371 points (1.1%) higher. Boeing’s shares are up $7.81, or 3.8%, while those of Chevron have risen $3.41, or 3.6%, combining for a roughly 74-point boost for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Goldman Sachs GS, +2.08%, American Express AXP, +2.51%, and JPMorgan Chase JPM, +2.04%. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.58-point swing.
