Dow Inc., Goldman Sachs share losses lead Dow's nearly 200-point drop

Shares of Dow Inc. and Goldman Sachs are trading lower Friday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into negative territory. Shares of Dow Inc. DOW, -3.21% and Goldman Sachs GS, -1.90% have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.61% was most recently trading 197 points lower (-0.6%). Dow Inc.’s shares are off $1.82 (3.1%) while those of Goldman Sachs have dropped $7.25, or 1.8%, combining for a roughly 60-point drag on the Dow. Apple Inc. AAPL, -1.84%, Microsoft MSFT, -1.73%, and Caterpillar CAT, -1.57% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark results in a 6.58-point swing.
