Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola share losses contribute to Dow's 86-point fall

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Monday afternoon with shares of Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola delivering the stiffest headwinds for the blue-chip average. Shares of Procter & Gamble PG, -1.98% and Coca-Cola KO, -1.53% have contributed to the index’s intraday decline, as the Dow DJIA, -0.20% was most recently trading 86 points, or 0.3%, lower. Procter & Gamble’s shares have fallen $2.70, or 2.0%, while those of Coca-Cola have declined $0.87, or 1.6%, combining for an approximately 23-point drag on the Dow. Travelers TRV, -1.36%, Walmart WMT, -1.41%, and Honeywell International Inc. HON, -1.26% are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any of the benchmark’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
