Public.com COO Stephen Sikes sat down with TheStreet to talk about the various brokerage restrictions on buying highly volatile stocks.

During the interview, Sikes talked about Apex allowing Public.com users to resume trading GameStop, Koss and AMC. He also weighed in on the restrictions and whether or not brokerages have a duty to educate instead of restrict.

“We’re back. Our clearing firm, Apex, has resumed the ability to buy $GME, $AMC, and $KOSS on Public. We appreciate their cooperation and are grateful to our members for their patience and understanding,” they tweeted.
