The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading up Monday morning with shares of Apple Inc. and Goldman Sachs seeing positive gains for the index. The Dow DJIA, +0.91% is trading 289 points higher (1.0%), as shares of Apple Inc. AAPL, +2.50% and Goldman Sachs GS, +1.80% are contributing to the index’s intraday rally. Apple Inc.’s shares have gained $3.48 (2.6%) while those of Goldman Sachs have gained $5.54, or 2.2%, combining for an approximately 59-point boost for the Dow. Walt Disney DIS, +2.05%, UnitedHealth UNH, +1.90%, and Visa V, +1.64% are also contributing significantly to the gain. A $1 move in any of the Dow’s 30 components equates to a 6.58-point swing.
